A supply business, run by three brothers

ARS Creations sells camping tents, canopies and trekking equipment. Some of it goes over the counter to people heading out for the weekend. Most of it goes in bulk to campsites, resorts and trekking outfits across Himachal and Uttarakhand.

We started at the Dobhi counter on the Manali highway because that is where the customers walk past. Rishikesh followed, and the warehouse in Dehradun came after that, once holding stock mattered more than displaying it.

There is no showroom in Dehradun. It is a building full of boxes, which is the point. When a camp calls in April needing twenty tents before the season starts, the answer depends on what is on the shelf that morning.
